So what are the important factors for PU leather to replace PVC artificial leather?
First, let's understand PVC artificial leather. PVC artificial leather is mainly made by adding plasticizers and stabilizers to PVC, and then coloring, coating gelation, embossing or embossing to create various products with appearances similar to leather. Among them, water-based polyurethane synthetic leather products, solvent-based synthetic leather, and BPU zero-solvent leather, among which water-based polyurethane synthetic leather products are not only cost-effective but also promote environmental protection; BPU zero-solvent leather does not contain solvents, and its safety, non-toxicity, and excellent physical properties have greatly improved people's trust in synthetic leather materials. It has also laid a solid technical foundation for PU synthetic leather to further replace traditional PVC synthetic leather materials.
